The CM of Punjab, has introduced the "CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Finance" and "Asaan Karobar Card" schemes to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province. 

Asaan Karobar Card:

Loan Amount: Provides interest-free loans ranging from PKR 500,000 to PKR 1 million.

Tenure: 3 years, with a 3-month grace period.

Usage: Funds can be utilized for vendor and supplier payments, utility bills, government fees, taxes, and cash withdrawals (up to 25% of the limit) for miscellaneous business purposes. 

Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme:

Loan Amount: Offers interest-free loans up to PKR 30 million.

Tenure: Up to 5 years, with a grace period of up to 6 months for startups and 3 months for existing businesses.

Purpose: Supports new business startups, expansion, modernization, working capital, leasing of commercial logistics, and climate-friendly businesses. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 21 to 57 years for the Asaan Karobar Card; 25 to 55 years for the Finance Scheme.

Residency: Pakistani nationals residing in Punjab.

Business Location: Existing or prospective business must be located in Punjab.

Documentation: Valid CNIC, mobile number registered in the applicant's name, and for the Finance Scheme, active FBR tax filer status with a clean credit history.

Applications are submitted digitally via the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) portal.

A non-refundable processing fee is applicable: PKR 500 for the Asaan Karobar Card; PKR 5,000 to PKR 10,000 for the Finance Scheme, depending on the loan tier.

Digital verification of CNIC, creditworthiness, and business premises will be conducted by authorized agencies. 

The Punjab government is providing free land for the Asaan Karobar Scheme to facilitate new business startups. 

Feasibility studies are available on the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) and Bank of Punjab (BOP) websites to assist startups and new businesses.
